‘Superman’: What are the movie’s post-credit scenes?

What you will see here:

The new Superman movie, which kicks off the shared DC universe led by James Gunn, has finally hit theaters this Thursday, the 10th. And of course, many fans want to know: Are there post-credit scenes after the story ends?

The answer is yes. The movie features two post-credit scenes that are sure to excite (and amuse) the audience.

The first scene shows a beautiful image of Clark Kent accompanied by Krypto the Superdog, enjoying a quiet moment on the Moon’s surface — a sequence already teased in promotional materials.

There’s nothing major here. It’s cute, sweet, and that’s it.

The second scene keeps the light tone but is more fun: Superman and Mr. Terrific look over the destruction in Metropolis. At one point, Mr. Terrific tries to rebuild a damaged building, but the result doesn’t satisfy the Man of Steel, who makes a point of saying the job wasn’t as perfect as it should be.

All About ‘Superman’

Directed by James Gunn, *Superman* officially launches DC’s new cinematic universe with a blend of epic action, sharp humor, and real heart.

In this new take, Clark Kent is portrayed as a deeply human hero, driven by compassion and a belief that kindness can still prevail in the world. The idea is to move away from the darker tones of previous versions and present an inspiring Superman, one who sees his powers as a moral responsibility — not just brute force.

In the lead role, David Corenswet dons the cape as the Man of Steel, while Rachel Brosnahan plays fearless reporter Lois Lane. The cast also features Nicholas Hoult as villain Lex Luthor and Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, with major appearances by Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), Nathan Fillion (Green Lantern), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Wendell Pierce (Perry White), and Milly Alcock as Supergirl. The diverse lineup of characters sets the stage for future chapters of this new DCU.
