En su mayor parte.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lee tambi\u00e9n: <a href=\"https:\/\/news.filmelier.com\/mx\/critica-el-payaso-del-maizal-pelicula\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cr\u00edtica: <em>El payaso del maizal<\/em> no subvierte el slasher, pero se divierte con \u00e9l<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7pdHPo4_8Pg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Donde tantas otras secuelas optan por conformarse con la repetici\u00f3n, la expansi\u00f3n o ambas cosas (es decir, hacer m\u00e1s de lo mismo, quiz\u00e1 m\u00e1s grande), Derrickson y su coguionista, C. Robert Cargill, se ocupan de ofrecer una <b>continuaci\u00f3n<\/b> l\u00f3gica y coherente de los acontecimientos de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/peliculas\/19109\/el-telefono-negro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la primera pel\u00edcula<\/a>. Y el resultado funciona hasta que, tonalmente, el asunto se descarrila hacia el final.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfDe qu\u00e9 trata?<\/h2>\n<p>Es 1982, cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de que Finney (Mason Thames) sobrevivi\u00f3 a su secuestro a manos de &#8220;El Raptor&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/list\/ethan-hawke-mejores-peliculas\">Ethan Hawke<\/a>), al que tuvo que asesinar. Incapaz de lidiar con el trauma, ha recurrido a la marihuana y a defenderse violentamente de los abusadores.<\/p>\n<p>Su hermana Gwen (Madeleine McGraw), mientras tanto, a\u00fan tiene poderes ps\u00edquicos. Cuando comienza a recibir visiones en sue\u00f1os de un lugar en la nieve, convence a Finney y a su amigo Ernesto (Miguel Mora) de ir a un campamento cristiano en las monta\u00f1as de Colorado. Ah\u00ed, no s\u00f3lo descubrir\u00e1n que su pasado est\u00e1 m\u00e1s unido al de &#8220;El Raptor&#8221; de lo que cre\u00edan, sino que algunas cosas se resisten incluso a la muerte.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-caption\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.filmelier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/telefono-negro-2-critica.webp\" alt=\"Cr\u00edtica de 'Tel\u00e9fono negro 2': una secuela competente que derrapa en el hielo\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" \/><br \/>\n&#8220;El Raptor&#8221; est\u00e1 de regreso para acechar a Finney y Gwen desde la tumba (Cr\u00e9dito: Universal Pictures)<\/div>\n<h2><i>Tel\u00e9fono negro 2<\/i> se transforma en <i>Pesadilla en la calle de infierno<\/i><\/h2>\n<p>Lo que resulta m\u00e1s interesante de esta pel\u00edcula es que sea una continuaci\u00f3n en el buen sentido de la palabra: <i>contin\u00faa<\/i> la historia e ideas de su predecesora, incluso sin contar con un material de origen, dado que el cuento original de Joe Hill fue adaptado en su totalidad con la primera pel\u00edcula. Donde \u00e9sta reflexionaba sobre la necesidad de la violencia ante la opresi\u00f3n y el peligro, <i>Tel\u00e9fono negro 2<\/i> lidia con las consecuencias inevitables en la forma del trauma generacional.<\/p>\n<p>En ese sentido, es una secuela que no se complica con buscar explicaciones il\u00f3gicas para el regreso de su villano principal. Por el contrario, dado el tema central de la pel\u00edcula, tiene todo el sentido del mundo que, en esta iteraci\u00f3n, &#8220;El Raptor&#8221; sea una especie de fantasma que trasciende el tiempo y los recuerdos. Derrickson toma una decisi\u00f3n est\u00e9tica para separar el mundo de los sue\u00f1os del mundo real que parece arruinar algunas sorpresas, pero m\u00e1s adelante en el metraje utiliza el recurso con ingenio para sorprender y desconcertar.<\/p>\n<p>Llegado cierto punto de la trama, sin embargo, <i>Tel\u00e9fono negro 2<\/i> opera dentro de tales terremos que bien podr\u00eda ser protagonizada por Freddy Krueger de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/peliculas\/7579\/pesadilla-en-la-calle-del-infierno\"><i>Pesadilla en la calle del infierno<\/i><\/a>. Y es aqu\u00ed donde la pel\u00edcula no necesariamente flaquea, pero s\u00ed se convierte en algo que rompe con el tono de lo que vino antes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.filmelier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/telefono-negro-2.webp\" alt=\"Ethan Hawke y Madeleine McGraw en una escena de Tel\u00e9fono negro 2\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" \/><br \/>\nGwen es la verdadera protagonista de <em>Tel\u00e9fono negro 2<\/em>, aunque el tono de la pel\u00edcula tiende a la exageraci\u00f3n (Cr\u00e9dito: Universal Pictures)<\/div>\n<p>Lo cual, en s\u00ed mismo, no es ning\u00fan defecto: tantas otras secuelas\u2014de terror o del g\u00e9nero que sean\u2014aburren por no imaginar rumbos menos derivativos para sus historias.
