Sin embargo, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/peliculas\/29711\/la-hermanastra-fea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>La hermanastra fea<\/i><\/a> (<i>Den Stygge Stes\u00f8steren<\/i>, Noruega, Polonia, Suecia y Dinamarca, 2025) es mucho m\u00e1s que una mera adaptaci\u00f3n para ganar unos d\u00f3lares con unos cuantos sustos baratos. Es, por lo tanto, una pel\u00edcula m\u00e1s emparentada est\u00e9tica, tem\u00e1tica y tonalmente con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/peliculas\/25579\/la-sustancia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>La sustancia<\/i><\/a> (<i>The Substance<\/i>, Francia, Estados Unidos y Reino Unido, 2024), \u00e9xito de <i>body horror<\/i> del a\u00f1o previo.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfDe qu\u00e9 se trata?<\/h2>\n<p>La viuda Rebekka (Ane Dahl Torp) tiene dos hijas: Elvira (Lea Myren) y Alma (Flo Fagerli). Creyendo que tiene dinero, se casa con un viejo viudo, Otto (Ralph Carlsson), que tiene una hermosa hija, Agnes (Thea Sofie Loch N\u00e6ss). Sin embargo, cuando \u00e9l muere repentinamente, descubre que est\u00e1n en la quiebra y sus sue\u00f1os de riqueza se desvanecen.<\/p>\n<p>El resentimiento crece pues Agnes desde\u00f1a a Rebekka y sus hermanastras por no venir de alta cuna. Mientras tanto, para mejorar las finanzas familiares, la madrastra planea casar a Elvira con el pr\u00edncipe Julian (Isac Calmroth), quien ha convocado a un baile por el reino. Excepto que Blichfeldt tiene la misma sutileza que un golpe de cincel y martillo directo a la nariz.
