La expectativa se confirm\u00f3 con la exhibici\u00f3n oficial, el mi\u00e9rcoles (14). Al intercalar las historias de cuatro chicas que viven en una granja del norte de Alemania, en \u00e9pocas diferentes, la directora teje una red compleja de memorias, traumas y los desaf\u00edos y sutilezas de la existencia femenina. El R\u00edo Elba, que pr\u00e1cticamente sirve como una de las fronteras de Altmark, tambi\u00e9n estableci\u00f3 el l\u00edmite del alcance del Ej\u00e9rcito Rojo en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. As\u00ed, el lugar qued\u00f3 detr\u00e1s de la Cortina de Hierro en la divisi\u00f3n entre Alemania Oriental y Occidental y, despu\u00e9s de la reunificaci\u00f3n, comenz\u00f3 a recibir personas de Berl\u00edn en busca de tranquilidad.<\/p>\n<p>Pero esta Historia con &#8220;H&#8221; may\u00fascula no contempla a las mujeres de ese lugar \u2013 y, sinceramente, de ning\u00fan otro. Su existir suele ser borrado por la falta de registro, por el desinter\u00e9s en convertirlas en personajes con trama.<\/p>\n<h2>Una historia contada por los silencios<\/h2>\n<p><i>Sound of Falling<\/i> surgi\u00f3 a partir de la foto de tres mujeres sin nombre, sin historia, sin ocupaci\u00f3n definida que Schilinski y la guionista Louise Peter encontraron olvidada en la propiedad, donde se refugiaron para escribir historias. Las dos se inspiraron en esa imagen de mujeres an\u00f3nimas para crear fragmentos de vida, filtrados por la memoria, de Alma (Hanna Heckt), Erika (Lea Drinda), Angelika (Lena Urzendowsky) y Lenka (Laeni Geiseller) a lo largo de cien a\u00f1os.<br \/>\nLa primera escena es muy representativa del tono de <i>Sound of Falling<\/i>: una joven se moviliza con la ayuda de muletas. En principio, parece no tener una de las piernas. Pero, en realidad, la pel\u00edcula revela que esconde la pierna bajo el vestido para tener la sensaci\u00f3n de vivir como el hombre tumbado en una cama, al que le amputaron parte de la extremidad. La secuencia contin\u00faa, intrigante y misteriosa, sin explicaciones de qu\u00e9 \u00e9poca es aquella, qui\u00e9n es ese hombre, por qu\u00e9 no tiene su pierna y, principalmente, qui\u00e9n es esa mujer. Es una advertencia de que Schilinski no est\u00e1 dispuesta a ser did\u00e1ctica, sino a transmitir sensaciones de invisibilidad, inadequaci\u00f3n, tedio, violencia, rebeld\u00eda oprimida que pasan de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n de mujeres.<\/p>\n<p>Las historias de estas cuatro chicas \u2013 y de otras mujeres a su alrededor \u2013 son hilvanadas de manera sorprendente, sin aviso, en un vaiv\u00e9n entre pasados que desorienta. No siempre el espectador sabe qui\u00e9n es el personaje en pantalla o exactamente en qu\u00e9 \u00e9poca est\u00e1. Erika sufre violencia f\u00edsica y no siempre sus impulsos son comprendidos. Angelika es juzgada mientras los hombres pueden transgredir a voluntad. Lenka tiene dificultades para lidiar con sus sentimientos.<br \/>\nHay evoluciones de una \u00e9poca a otra, pero en el fondo, pocas cosas cambian. Pero juntas se reflejan y muestran que, ya sea hace 100, 80, 40 o 10 a\u00f1os, las mujeres son silenciadas, juzgadas, oprimidas.<\/p>\n<p>La pel\u00edcula es notable para transmitir peque\u00f1as sensaciones, usando puntos de vista bastante subjetivos para mostrar la relaci\u00f3n de estas chicas con sus universos particulares y los mundos con los que tienen que lidiar. Alma mira hacia abajo para ver los detalles del vestido negro del que est\u00e1 muy orgullosa y tiene poca comprensi\u00f3n de lo que significa. Lenka se extra\u00f1a con la primera mirada sobre su cuerpo por parte del amigo de su padre.<\/p>\n<p>Schilinski alterna este punto de vista subjetivo con una mirada que parece ser del personaje sobre s\u00ed misma, como una experiencia extracorp\u00f3rea o, tal vez, de ella misma en otra \u00e9poca revisitando lo que vivi\u00f3. Hay algo fantasmal en las im\u00e1genes, con los personajes siendo espectros que atraviesan las \u00e9pocas y acechan otras eras y llaman al espectador a ser testigo, no a trav\u00e9s de la pantalla, sino como si estuviera en esos cuerpos.<\/p>\n<p><i>Sound of Falling<\/i> es ambiciosa como solo los hombres en segundas pel\u00edculas suelen tener derecho a ser y revela una nueva voz interesant\u00edsima del cine mundial.
