Y no es para menos: entre pel\u00edculas que tratan el tema como un apocalipsis zombi o como la salvaci\u00f3n de la humanidad, la industria parece haber olvidado que el p\u00fablico, antes que nada, quiere una buena historia. En 2025, ya fuimos bombardeados con el desastre de los hermanos Russo en <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/peliculas\/28730\/estado-electrico\"><em data-start=\"3614\" data-end=\"3634\">Estado el\u00e9ctrico<\/em><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0y salvados por la interesante <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/peliculas\/28773\/companera-perfecta\"><em data-start=\"3665\" data-end=\"3685\">Compa\u00f1era perfecta<\/em><\/a><\/strong>, aunque esta humaniza demasiado a la m\u00e1quina. Ahora lleg\u00f3 el turno de <em data-start=\"3756\" data-end=\"3767\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/peliculas\/112692\/m3gan-20\"><strong>M3GAN 2.0<\/strong><\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"M3GAN 2.0 | Tr\u00e1iler Final Oficial\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JFVhW0hreiw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3824\" data-end=\"4269\">Dirigida nuevamente por <strong>Gerard Johnstone<\/strong>, quien tambi\u00e9n escribi\u00f3 el guion junto con Akela Cooper, la pel\u00edcula profundiza en los temas ya planteados en la primera entrega, sobre la presencia de la tecnolog\u00eda en la vida cotidiana. En una trama inflada y desordenada, de m\u00e1s de dos horas de duraci\u00f3n, la pel\u00edcula muestra que la mu\u00f1eca asesina fue aparentemente destruida, pero ahora en la secuela hay una nueva IA que amenaza la vida y la seguridad de las personas.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lee tambi\u00e9n:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.filmelier.com\/mx\/critica-exterminio-la-evolucion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cr\u00edtica:\u00a0<em>Exterminio: La evoluci\u00f3n<\/em>\u00a0decepciona incluso d\u00e9cadas despu\u00e9s<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n<p data-start=\"4271\" data-end=\"4558\">Y ah\u00ed est\u00e1 el coraz\u00f3n de la pel\u00edcula: Gemma (Allison Williams), la creadora de M3GAN, es llamada para detener esta nueva m\u00e1quina. Pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo hacerlo sola y, adem\u00e1s, teniendo que rendir cuentas al gobierno? Es entonces, obviamente, cuando surge la idea de traer de vuelta a la mu\u00f1eca.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4560\" data-end=\"4586\">Del terror a la acci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4588\" data-end=\"5026\">En un giro inesperado, <em data-start=\"4611\" data-end=\"4622\">M3GAN 2.0<\/em> deja de ser una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/terror\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pel\u00edcula de terror<\/a> para convertirse, aunque no lo creas, en una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/mx\/accion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pel\u00edcula de acci\u00f3n<\/a>. Claramente inspirada en la saga de <em data-start=\"4758\" data-end=\"4770\">Terminator<\/em>, la m\u00e1quina se convierte en protectora de Cady (Violet McGraw), sobrina de Gemma y exdue\u00f1a de la mu\u00f1eca asesina. Es una decisi\u00f3n arriesgada, incluso curiosa, que podr\u00eda haber abierto espacio para que Johnstone explorara nuevos lenguajes, ideas y s\u00edmbolos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5028\" data-end=\"5437\">Pero eso no es lo que sucede en pantalla. El cambio de g\u00e9nero tambi\u00e9n trae un cambio de tono. <em data-start=\"5122\" data-end=\"5133\">M3GAN 2.0<\/em> no solo se pone otro traje, tambi\u00e9n pierde el alma. \u00bfEl humor extra\u00f1o y exagerado que le daba personalidad al original? Pr\u00e1cticamente desapareci\u00f3. \u00bfLas escenas de acci\u00f3n? Tan gen\u00e9ricas como una pel\u00edcula cualquiera directo-a-video de los 90. No solo la pel\u00edcula es mucho menos divertida\u2014con escenas de acci\u00f3n que podr\u00edan estar en cualquier pel\u00edcula de Netflix\u2014, sino que todo el debate sobre la inteligencia artificial se maneja con el nivel de profundidad de una tarea escolar.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"5439\" data-end=\"5890\">\u00bfM3GAN o Alexa?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5892\" data-end=\"6377\">La propia M3GAN se vuelve una especie de Alexa simp\u00e1tica con instintos maternales, como si los guionistas tuvieran miedo de molestar a alg\u00fan ejecutivo de Apple o Google. El resultado es una narrativa tibia, sin coraje para ser ni totalmente cr\u00edtica ni totalmente optimista con la IA, eligiendo el camino m\u00e1s seguro (y m\u00e1s aburrido) del t\u00e9rmino medio. En la salida m\u00e1s obvia y sin gracia posible, la pel\u00edcula dice que el futuro puede ser positivo si la humanidad se al\u00eda con los robots.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6379\" data-end=\"6676\">No daremos spoilers, pero cr\u00e9enos: las decisiones finales son p\u00e9simas, le dan un pase libre a la tecnolog\u00eda y no profundizan la conversaci\u00f3n. La lecci\u00f3n es clara: si vas a cambiar por completo el tono de una franquicia, necesitas una gran historia.
