Anos depois, eventos terr\u00edveis come\u00e7am a se desdobrar \u2013 com a volta triunfante do macaco. No entanto, com uma dire\u00e7\u00e3o que privilegia o tosco, <\/span><b><i>O Macaco<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mostra como tudo aquilo n\u00e3o \u00e9 bem um terror, mas sim piadas de mau gosto com maldi\u00e7\u00f5es, mortes e coincid\u00eancias bizarras. A pr\u00f3pria figura do macaco evoca isso com seus dentes amarelados, olhar vidrado e o tambor tosco (ali\u00e1s, n\u00e3o \u00e9 prato, como no conto, por causa de direitos autorais da Disney).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perkins se vale dessa figura do brinquedo amaldi\u00e7oado, enfim, para rir da morte e encher certa pequenez nos seres humanos \u2013 que, vejam s\u00f3, n\u00e3o conseguem enfrentar sequer um macaco com tambor. \u00c9, enfim, um filme que ri com o p\u00fablico e ri do p\u00fablico. Tudo junto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>O Macaco<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> perde f\u00f4lego em momentos mais centrais de drama, quando tenta encontrar alguma hist\u00f3ria para contar no relacionamento entre os dois irm\u00e3os g\u00eameos, interpretados na fase adulta por um deslocado Theo James (da s\u00e9rie <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Divergente<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).
