Afinal, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/br\/filmes\/112210\/hurry-up-tomorrow-alem-dos-holofotes\"><strong><em>Hurry Up Tomorrow<\/em><\/strong><\/a> \u00e9 um filme insuport\u00e1vel &#8212; representado, assim, pela tal &#8220;massagem&#8221; que caracteriza a obra como um todo &#8212; como todos os outros elementos ali citados. O ego de The Weekend \u00e9 insuport\u00e1vel, assim como o pr\u00f3prio Abel Tesfaye me causa o mesmo sentimento.<\/p>\n<h2>The Weeknd,\u00a0<em>Hurry Up Tomorrow<\/em> e o audiovisual<\/h2>\n<p>N\u00e3o tenho, enfim, qualquer conex\u00e3o com a m\u00fasica dele. Toda e qualquer novidade que sei sobre o artista acontece por conta do audiovisual, meio em que ele insiste em se infiltrar. Por mais que tenha certo papel em\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/br\/filmes\/8208\/joias-brutas\"><em>Joias Brutas<\/em><\/a>, comecei a prestar mais aten\u00e7\u00e3o nele com toda a hist\u00f3ria por tr\u00e1s da s\u00e9rie <em>The Idol<\/em>. O projeto, assinado pelo criativo cineasta Trey Edward Shults (do \u00f3timo\u00a0<em>Ao Cair da Noite<\/em>), \u00e9 uma esp\u00e9cie de videoclipe em formato de filme. Ou, como agora costumam chamar esses projetos mais pretensiosos, \u00e9 um &#8220;\u00e1lbum visual&#8221;. Tudo bobagem sem sentido.<\/p>\n<h2>Uma tentativa de hist\u00f3ria<\/h2>\n<p>Na hist\u00f3ria, The Weekend (interpretado por ele pr\u00f3prio, claro) \u00e9 um artista sofrendo. N\u00e3o s\u00f3 cobram demais dele (tadinho!), como tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 em um relacionamento complicado &#8212; tanto com o empres\u00e1rio Lee (Barry Keoghan) quanto com uma antiga paix\u00e3o (Jenna Ortega)<\/p>\n<p>Assim, ao longo de 105 minutos, <em>Hurry Up Tomorrow\u00a0<\/em>mostra, de forma bastante experimental (e insuport\u00e1vel, claro) como esse artista tenta se reerguer. E \u00e9 isso. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 no roteiro de Reza Fahim, Shults e The Weeknd qualquer ideia que v\u00e1 al\u00e9m e que tente construir uma hist\u00f3ria de fato. \u00c9 uma massagem de ego eterna, em tons pseudo-experimentais, que tentam justificar essa viagem de um artista pedante e pretensioso.<\/p>\n<p>Os absurdo v\u00e3o desde o tal empres\u00e1rio elogiando ele sem parar, falando at\u00e9 que The Weeknd tem voz de anjo (lembre-se, foi o pr\u00f3prio artista que escreveu isso), at\u00e9 chegar numa cena em que o cantor \u00e9 torturado ouvindo suas pr\u00f3prias m\u00fasicas, quase como se fosse um espelho do espectador. Personagens s\u00e3o figuras abstratas que, em tempos de imp\u00e9rios eg\u00edpcios, ficariam abanando o artista com folhas de uva. A hist\u00f3ria \u00e9 uma eterna celebra\u00e7\u00e3o de Abel e de sua pretens\u00e3o. E a m\u00fasica, c\u00e1 entre n\u00f3s, n\u00e3o \u00e9 nada grandiosa.<\/p>\n<p>O fato \u00e9 que me senti, repentinamente, em um dos epis\u00f3dios de\u00a0<em>O Est\u00fadio<\/em>, grande s\u00e9rie da Apple TV+. Em determinado momento, o presidente do est\u00fadio em quest\u00e3o, vivido por Seth Rogen, vai avaliar um novo filme do cineasta Ron Howard. Est\u00e1 animado, \u00e9 claro. Mas, no final, o longa-metragem \u00e9 uma bomba e ningu\u00e9m tem coragem de falar isso para o diretor. Afinal, quem vai vetar um filme assim?<\/p>\n<p>Consigo imaginar os executivos da Lionsgate no mesmo dilema. Como vetar um projeto t\u00e3o &#8220;autoral&#8221; de The Weeknd?
