Mas \u00e9 exatamente isso que prop\u00f5e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/br\/filmes\/112323\/a-useful-ghost\"><strong><em data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"802\">A Useful Ghost<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (Tail\u00e2ndia, Singapura, Fran\u00e7a, 2025) \u2014 filme exibido na Semana da Cr\u00edtica do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/br\/festival\/festival-de-cannes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Festival de Cannes<\/a> 2025 e vencedor do Grand Prix na se\u00e7\u00e3o paralela.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Confira tamb\u00e9m:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/br\/list\/vencedores-da-palma-de-ouro-de-cannes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Filmes vencedores da Palma de Ouro de Cannes<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe title=\"Trailer - PEE CHAI DAI KA (A Useful Ghost) dir. Em parte, ele consegue isso por meio de um humor ir\u00f4nico e \u00e1cido, constru\u00eddo com atua\u00e7\u00f5es contidas e enquadramentos cujas composi\u00e7\u00f5es e distanciamento exaltam o absurdo de certas situa\u00e7\u00f5es. Algo que n\u00e3o est\u00e1 t\u00e3o distante do cinema de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/br\/director\/wes-anderson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wes Anderson<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1885\">Outra semelhan\u00e7a com o cineasta norte-americano \u00e9 o uso do dispositivo narrativo de hist\u00f3rias dentro de hist\u00f3rias. Assim como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmelier.com\/br\/filmes\/18939\/o-grande-hotel-budapeste\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1498\">O Grande Hotel Budapeste<\/em><\/a> (<em data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1526\">The Grand Budapest Hotel<\/em>, EUA e Alemanha, 2014) come\u00e7a em um cemit\u00e9rio com o busto de um escritor e segue com a hist\u00f3ria que inspira seu livro mais famoso, <em data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1674\">A Useful Ghost<\/em> come\u00e7a com outro tipo de homenagem ao passado e aos mortos. Modelos posam como oper\u00e1rios, agricultores, soldados e professores para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de uma escultura que deve servir como memorial em uma pra\u00e7a p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2325\">Mas, quando a hist\u00f3ria principal come\u00e7a, o memorial j\u00e1 foi demolido \u2014 junto com toda a pra\u00e7a \u2014 para dar lugar \u00e0 constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um <em>shopping center<\/em>. A poeira da obra est\u00e1 causando doen\u00e7as respirat\u00f3rias e mortes na popula\u00e7\u00e3o, assim como um aumento na compra de aspiradores de p\u00f3. Um jovem gay (Wisarut Homhuan) \u2013 representante de um grupo ainda profundamente discriminado na sociedade tailandesa \u2013 compra um que parece &#8220;tossir&#8221; o p\u00f3 de volta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2916\">O t\u00e9cnico de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o (Wanlop Rungkumjad) explica que provavelmente o aspirador est\u00e1 mal-assombrado, algo comum nos eletrodom\u00e9sticos daquele fabricante. Ele conta que a f\u00e1brica, de uma empresa familiar, sofreu v\u00e1rias trag\u00e9dias: primeiro, a morte do dono por doen\u00e7a respirat\u00f3ria. Nat (Davika Hoorne), esposa de um dos filhos, March (Wisarut Himmarat), tamb\u00e9m morreu da mesma forma. Ambos, no entanto, se recusam a deixar o plano terreno. O dono, movido pelo ressentimento, possui as m\u00e1quinas e assombra a f\u00e1brica. Ela, por amor ao marido, possui um aspirador para permanecer ao lado dele.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2916\">As tr\u00eas subtramas de <em data-start=\"2939\" data-end=\"2955\">A Useful Ghost<\/em> se desenvolvem de forma entrela\u00e7ada, revelando, aos poucos, intrigas entre os personagens e um subtexto social mais forte. Por um lado, sua condi\u00e7\u00e3o de eletrodom\u00e9sticos possu\u00eddos lhes confere uma faceta utilit\u00e1ria, instrumental, que \u00e9 levada a terrenos mais sombrios e inquietantes por for\u00e7as externas (afinal, o que seria um &#8220;fantasma \u00fatil&#8221;, como sugere o t\u00edtulo? Qual o peso da palavra &#8220;\u00fatil&#8221;?).<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3570\" data-end=\"3976\">Em uma das subtramas, um personagem fantasmag\u00f3rico \u00e9 for\u00e7ado a continuar \u201csendo \u00fatil\u201d \u2014 ou seja, a servir interesses alheios mesmo ap\u00f3s a morte.
